In this paper, I want to forecast desirable direction for study of Koeran language education, with background of ecological understanding, which is regarded a science as a living organism. To keep academic identity of pedagogy of Koeran language, its contents and methods must be continually reconceptualized reflecting upon 'here and now' phenomena. In all the phenomena that have latent relations with the pedagogy of Koeran language, for example the phenomena of humanities, social science, and arts, reconceptualizing for the pedagogy must be enthusiastically attempted. The process of reconceptualizing for the pedagogy is a kind of qualitative conversion of educational contents among the other areas. Forward the successful reconceptualizing, it is necessary for us to set up macroscopic pedagogy of Koeran language that requires holistic insight to language and culture through ecological view. I want to propose some strategy of study for reconceptualizing as followings. 1) Reconceptualizing the established contents of existed language education. 2) Reconceptualizing adjacent content phenomena to Korean language education. 3) Reconceptualizing method phenomena of pedagogy in general. It is important to enlarge the scientific crossbreeding for productive study. 'Acrossing the disciplines(curricular phenomena)' may be major strategy of development for future pedagogy of Koeran language. 'Acrossing the disciplines' and 'reconceptualizing' are linked with mutual dependence to increase the educational demand of Korean language education in days to come. I think that Korean language requires new paradigm to set up scientific system to form its own philosophy, theory and practice by its own exertion. In this standpoint, the aspects of 'acrossing' may be sub-categorized into six dimensions. The matter of great importance to Korean language education is to overcome the functionalism that have contributed since 1980s to assure reciprocal action with other science. Overcoming the functionalism doesn't mean the exclusion but qualitative shift, in short, 'overcoming in continuity' is useful. Many researchers in Korean language education should accept the challenge for its scientific development in the future as followings. 1) Originality and self adjustment of Korean language education as a science 2) Concord with theory and practice in Korean language education 3) Competitiveness of Korean language arts in the actual curriculum 4) Openness and pluralism in the method of study
