The Department of Education announced that New Korean Curriculum(the eighth curriculum) will change curriculum system. In the future the specialists will research curriculum at any time and educational government officials revise curriculum on occasion. Korean Language Curriculum revision will be same. Korean Language Curriculum have been researched the outline of Korean Language Curriculum-character, goal, -until the seventh curriculum. This thesis is focused 'content' of Korean language curriculum, because classroom lessons are based on 'content'(object). The seventh Korean language curriculum is organized six content areas and is presented objects of each area every one year. It is difficult to present each grade distinct objects, object's differences between the first grade and second grade etc, can reveal themselves through various activities in textbook. This paper has opinion that the 1st~10th grade will be divided 5 steps or 4 steps or 3 steps, and the content areas will be amended from six areas(listening, speaking, reading, writing, Korean language knowledge, literature) to 'comprehension and expression'. It will be effective that new fields(ex. viewing, media etc.) will include in Korean language subject. The 'comprehension' area can be contained 'listening, reading, literature, media, viewing etc and the 'expression' area can be contained speaking, writing, Korean language knowledge etc. It is needless that all of six areas Korean language curriculum are taught so long as ten years old-first~tenth, so it is fruitful that content areas be divided two-comprehension and expression, according to the process of thinking. According to steps, each two areas will be determined a few categories not oneness. The 7th Korean language curriculum's 'content structure' is made up four categories- 'conceptual knowledge/ skill/ attitude/ perform'. Four area's conceptual knowledges items and skill items (listening, speaking, reading, writing) are overlapped. Therefore it is better that content areas are divided two areas. And it is preferable that area of Korean language knowledge be contained in skill areas at least 1st~6th. It is enough to deliberate that the literature area and reading area will be merged. This paper reviewed 7th Korean language Curriculum and think over new Korean language Curriculum.
