Abstract
The task of this essay is to construct the contents of speech education with regard to mass media education. The central problem is speech pattern in relation to social identity in T.V drama. Solving problem, first above all, this essay establishes theory that the quality of mass media education in korean language education is contemporary language culture. Particular speech pattern is related to social identity which is formed in social position and social role of vocation, stratum and sex. Drama Ajumma is represented of speech pattern of intelligent and female people. The former is power oriented speech which seeks the exercise of power to other and exclusion of other group. The latter is ethics oriented speech which seeks authentic and group solidarity. This pattern is not real but construct. So, the student need to critically decided. Achieving this aim, student needes to consider other response of receiver and other production context.
