The Writer's Attitude toward Writing

Abstract
Writing requires concerted effort and concentration, marshaling of many intellectual resources, and the skilled negotiation of numerous constraints. There are many personal factors that influence how well people write. Writing performance should depend partly on emotional factors. Writer's attitude is one source of individual difference that carries implications writing process and writing performance. The attitude play prominent roles in all human activity, writing included. The intrinsic motivation and emotion such as anxiety, pleasure, anger etc. weigh heavily, concerning attitude toward writing. The writer who has positive attitude toward writing finds emotional satisfaction in completing documents and is satisfied his composition, Anxious writers felt more obligated to write, were less happy about writing, felt it was harder than it used be, experienced more self-doubt, and enjoyed it less than enthusiastic writers. Students mentioned that they felt enjoyment when they want to write and write about interesting things. And they felt negative feeling about writing when they were obligated to write in classroom. Therefore above all teacher should make them to have the positive attitude toward writing to teach students writing. Teacher must give students a task that calls intrinsic motivation to their mind. On evaluating their wring process and performance teacher must be careful lest they fell a burden and anxiety. And teacher must make the appropriate writing environment and writing situation in order that they feel inclined to do writing. 【Key words】 writing, attitude, motivation, emotion
