The Evaluation Model of Korean Language Education

Abstract
Nowadays, the evaluation of Korean language education has several problems. The way to solve these problems is to establish the systematic evaluation model of Korean language education. For developing the evaluation model of Korean language education, it satisfies three conditions. First, the decision of evaluation objects and contents. Second, the making diversity of evaluation goals. Third, the fix of evaluation procedure. The evaluation object of Korean language education must contain 'curriculum, textbook, lessons, teacher, student, Korean language circumstances. The evaluation goals of Korean language education have to be classification and selection, to grasp the achievement of aims, judgement of change, to grasp evaluation object's merits and demerits, validation of effects and influences, overall understanding, educational prescriptions. And the evaluation procedure is divided into the set up of evaluation plan, the gathering evaluation data, the interpretation of evaluation data. The evaluation model of Korean language education may derive the diverse evaluation type from the matrix of 'evaluation goals × evaluation objects × evaluation method'.
