The purpose of this study is to examine various language uses in broadcast- ing center and then to put emphasis on the necessity of Korean language education. Language-use in TV program should be very accurate and precise because it can greatly affect ordinary language uses in everyday life. However, most language uses in media are neither accurate nor appropriate. After analyzing many cases, it can be possible to give ideas for ‘what a media language should be.’ After all, it should be grammati- cally ‘correct’. Especially issues about a long/short sound, transcription of foreign language. should be examined considerately. 【key words】Korean Language Education, Broadcasting system, Media Language
