이 연구는 최근 교육정보화의 큰 흐름 속에서 국어교육 정보화의 효 율성과 체계성을 제고(提高)하기 위한 기초적 성격을 띤다. 본 연구는 국어교육 정보화의 개념과 범주, 세계 각국의 자국어 교육 정보화 현황, 국어교육 정보화의 실태와 문제점 분석, 대응 방안의 모색을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 국어교육 정보화란 각종 정보통신기술의 도구와 시스템을 활용하여 국어교육의 내용, 교수- 학습 방법, 평가 등 국어교육 체제의 총체적이고 도 발전적 변화를 꾀하고자 하는 일체의 행위를 의미하는데, 특히 다중 매체 문식성(multim edia literacy )의 문제가 큰 부분을 차지한다. 국어교육 정보화와 관련하여 아직 보완되어야 할 부분이 많은 것으로 드러났다. 정보화와 관련된 국어교육 측면에서 앞으로 정보(특히 다중 매체와 관련된)의 비판적 이해와 생성 능력, 정보통신 언어윤리 교육의 강화가 요구되고 있다. 정보통신기술의 정확하고 효과적인 활용은 멀티 미디어 문식성(literacy )에 기반하며, 이는 궁극적으로 사고의 문제이다. 국어과 교육용 소프트웨어에 대한 사용자들의 만족도는 30% 내외로 대체로 낮은 편인데, 이는 소프트웨어 개발 구조의 취약성을 반영하고 있다. 대체로 국어과 코스웨어들은 멀티미디어 기능을 충분히 살리지 못해 학습자의 동기 유발에 실패하고 있다. 앞으로 국가적 지원과 함께 국어교육용 컨텐트의 구축과 다양한 소프트웨어의 개발 노력이 요구된 다. 특히 개발과 지원에 있어서 국어교육전문가와 교육공학자, 민간개발 업체 등이 컨소시엄을 구성하는 팀 단위의 공모와 지원 형식이 바람직 하다. < A b s trac t > A B as ic S tudy for U s e of Inform ation Communic ation T echnolog y in Korean Lang uag e Education S e o , Hy e ok T his research con cludes the concept , range, statu s, problem s and solution of the u se of Inform ation Communication T echn ology in Korean Language Education . T he u se of ICT in KLE is to dev elop the m ethod of teaching - learning , evaluation and contents. T he Use of ICT in KLE mean s all activities to development the KLE sy stem s including the contents, teaching - learning methods, assessment, through utilizing all kinds of ICT tools and sy stem s. At this time, especially Multimedia literacy play s an important role. In this research , Cour se- w are(for KLE ) u ser s (teacher s and student s) degree of satisfaction is 30% around. So most of user s are not satisfied with the CW ' s. Usually the CW 's are failed in using Multimedia function effectiv ely . It results from the bad condition of creating , trading , utilizing CW ' s, not from the technical problem s. So the Gov ernment should supply to construct the contents, and to create v ariou s type ' s of SW ' s. When the governm ent supply them , it ' s better to recommend con stituting research team unit which con sist s of subject matter researcher s or professor s, educational technologists and v entures or enterprises. Relating to the curriculum on this area, the following essential elements need to be con sidered; critical judgement , comprehen sion and creation of information , language morale of IC, etc. Ultimately the correct and effectiv e use of ICT is based on the Multimedia Literacy and it ' s up to thinking ability through language.
