Since the beginning of the 21st century, the Education of Korean Language as a foreign language has made a remarkable development. It reaches a new level around the world. Especially in china it has been emerging as a forerunner among the countries outside of Korea. During this period, the studies on Korean Language Education have achieved some good progresses as well both in theoretical and practical areas. However, the pace for the studies on Korean Literature Education is relatively slow as compared with the studies in other areas. Korean Studies-oriented Chinese colleges have special characteristics. That means the purpose of Korean Literature Education is not only to help improving student's abilities for communication, but also to give them a general point of view to make deepen understanding on Korean Literature as literature itself. A study on the different levels, fields and methods about Korean Literature Education has been presented in the paper. In terms of Korean Studies-oriented Chinese college, the levels of Literature Education can be divided into two fields. One is the case of teaching literature as language materials, the other is teaching literature by the principles of itself as an independent part of Korean Studies. In this paper, the goals of Literature Education, principles for selecting literary works and contents of instruction are discussed, then some of models about instruction and learning are suggested.
