Abstract
A System and Direction for Teacher Education Belonging to Korean Language Department, Teachers' College Kim, Hye-youngThis thesis analyzed the status and problem of operation as an object of a curriculum of teacher education belonging to korean Language Department, Teachers' College. A study on teacher education belonging to korean Language Department is on the process centering on curriculum. It is a reflection that this is a subject to be solved fast in the course of program enforcement of teacher education, that is, selecting and systematizing the subjects to be trained in the korean Language Department, Teacher's College. This thesis scrutinized problems of korean Language Department curriculum operation in the aspect of selecting, classifying, and ordering subjects. The results said that the deviations among curriculums of universities were great. It means that the universities didn't agree with the contents which should be included on a curriculum at least. The ways to solve the problems should be presented so that korean Language Department curriculum, teachers' college can establish beliefs as a korean language teacher, that the curriculum, pointing practice and unity, should be developed, and that the curriculum should be systematized under the consideration of learning order.
