Research on the Korean Language Education Utilizing the Inter-textuality Between Poetry and Song -take Kim so weoll’’s poem “Azalea Flower” and Maya’s song “Azalea Flower” as an example-

Abstract
This paper is based on the position of postmodernism, in which the learner's understanding of a text comes not only from the text itself, but also from the various relationships with the other texts that the leaner has read before. The paper also explores teaching and learning methods for modern Korean poetry. Especially, poems, songs, and ballads have strong inter-textuality in their text and rhythm and sentiment. Many modern Korean poems are transformed into songs and ballads, so the expression of songs and poems in inter-textual ways in poetry instruction is an effective way to stimulate the learner’s interest and deepen the learner’s understanding of a modern poem. Hence, this paper examines Kim so weoll’‘s poem “Azalea Flower” as a example, related to Maya‘s song “Azalea Flower”, seeking their inter-textual links and exploring an appropriate method instruction of the poem.
