Abstract
The purpose of this study is to discuss the correlation between educational programs and a literary contest in spring for professionals. In order to achieve this goal, first, college literature courses were divided into "literary education as a liberal education" and "literary education for the literary professionals”. Starting from the mid to late 90s, there was a boom in foundation of department of creative writing and the full-scale place was provided to carry out the creative education as a deeper level. A literary contest in spring is an event to be steadily enforced from when Korea's modern literature was established until today. A literary contest in spring is a literary activity based on the purpose of which literary circles are formed through special confirmation procedure, which is the first issue to consider in literary professional training program at University. This study examines the implementation form of a literary contest in spring and presents the actual model for literary education program for a literary contest in spring. Even if a literary contest in spring has internal contradictions, it plays a special role in structuralization of literary education at University.
