Personal Epistemology in Grammar Education

Abstract

This study proposes a research direction of personal epistemology in grammar education. First, it examines epistemology as the theoretical foundation of personal epistemology. Second, it reviewed relevant stud- ies and educational cases concerning personal epistemology to derive key insights into grammar education. Lastly, it explores the aims, scope, and challenges involved in developing a theoretical framework for per- sonal epistemology within grammar education. Research on personal epistemology in grammar education is framed within the epistemology for grammar education, in relation to philosophical inquiry and instruc- tional design.
