The slelction of preliminary Educational Vocabulary of Korean Language Teaching

Abstract
The aim of this essay is to suggest the preliminary educational vocabulary of korean language teaching for foreigner. Generally speaking, the educational vocabulary is not the media of language teaching but the content of object of language teaching. So ‘the preliminary educational vocabulary of korean language teaching’ is the vocabulary for the beginners to learn. But this essay suggests only the quantitative limit of vocabulary in the korean language teaching. So far the selection of korean educational vocabulary has been done by the lexical frequency, the individual intuition of researcher or the way of intuitively select the vocabulary among the preliminary lexical group to be classified. But, this essay tries to suggest the high frequent vocabulary in the frequency of korean words firstly and add the high frquent and variant words to it. The proper selecting way is the way by the level of korean language learner's level recognition, but the selection in this essay is to be done by my own intuitions. So, the trial in this essay means the basic work expecting the concerns of the related researchers.
