In this study, I discussed on the components of the korean creativity.
In the perspective of creativity education, creativity is the universal ability that everybody has. Also it is not domain-general but domain-specific. Korean creativity education should be developed systemically on this premise.
This study analyzed the components of the korean creativity from a pluralistic point of view. Four components of the korean creativity are task, person, product, environment. First, "task" is composed of the knowledge about creativity and the domain-specific knowledge, that is, the knowledge about korean language. Second, "person" consists of the cognitive and affective factor. In korean creativity education, person is both the creative subject and the learner. Third, "product" contains the whole process of problem-solving as well as the text which is the final outcome of language activity. At the end, "environment" is composed the macro- and micro environment. It contains physical circumstances, the domain that furnishes the symbolic rule and procedure about task, and the field that evaluates the product.
