Abstract
This paper aims to develop a creative writing program for verbal talent. There have been so many studies on gifted children, and education programs for them. But Investigations on verbal talent in Korea have not been conducted widely. So, we collected and analyzed current instruction materials for them, and observed their lessons to review teaching methods. Then we got to focus on the effect and role of creative writing instructions for developing their verbal talents. We designed three types of syllabus in the area of creative thinking, expository text writing, narrative text writing. Each of writing syllabus types divided to three different lesson process by lesson purposes : comprehension instruction, inquiry instruction, and project instruction. We expect this program will be helpful to incumbent teachers to prepare their teaching materials for verbal talents, and it will be used to teach current normal students in Korean language lessons for deepening their writing skills.
