A Study on Affective Category of KAKL Domain

Abstract
The affective category of KAKL(Knowledge About Korean Language) domain consists of affective features of student who learn about Korean Language. In the present Korean Language curriculum, This is set up independently and the name is ‘Attitude toward Korean Language’. The components of this category are ‘motives’, ‘interests’, ‘habits’, ‘values’ which is realized in content item concretely. I aim at investigating the affective category of KAKL domain by and large. This investigation is based in the present curriculum. First, I examin it's meaning in educational aims and educational contents. In aims, it is a part of learning accomplishment in KAKL domain. In contents, it is a part of educational contents in KAKL domain. Therefore, the affective category of KAKL domain is description of psychological preparations accomplished by ideal learner, and of educational contents which make that result possible. Second, I examine the affective category of KAKL domain in the intrinsic nature, aim and content. In the intrinsic nature, I criticize a perspective that this domain is knowledge in itself. So, I argue that the focus must be changed ‘the Knowledge about Korean Language’ to ‘the understanding korean language’. By doing such as, affect related knowledge is changed affect related activity. In the aim, I conclude that the present aim - ‘a development of korean language’ and ‘a nation who loves Korean Language’- must be pluralized toward the aim that restored a complexity of linguistic self.
