A Study on Teaching Method of Speaking & Listening

Abstract
If we frame the teaching method of speaking & listening, we know the situation and characteristics of speaking & listening instruction. Speaking & listening instruction is composed of ‘teacher, learner, education content’, the characteristics of speaking & listening instruction are derived from the speaking & listening instruction's situation and elements. The existing teaching methods of speaking & listening did not reflect speaking & listening instruction's characteristics. If we solve this problem, we divide the teaching method of speaking & listening into the instruction management method, selection and organization method of education content, delivery method of education content. Therefore we establish the teaching method of speaking & listening as follows. First, it need the practices of instruction organization. Second, the teacher transform education content into the practices that the learner must study. These practices are made of ‘text types, the practices on the education content elements of speaking & listening, the combination of practices on speaking & listening's process. Third, the teacher change these pratices into visual, audible, visual-audible and interactional media.
