Abstract
Issues on Movie-making Education in Korean Language Education and Textbook Han, Gwi-eun The youth culture is becoming a matter of grave and common concern in Korean language education. Teenagers is enjoying making multimedia texts including visual-audio texts. So, the teaching method and program of movie-making or image-making education must be developed. Also the concrete strategies have to be materialized in curriculum and textbook. Especially the contents about visual language and visual grammar must be considered for students to make movies or visual texts. The simple and formulate visual grammar system is necessary in Korean language textbook. This structured educational contents is derived from the reflection of Korean language education. The image and visual texts are treated in Korean language education as culture environment. So, the teaching processes is in daily experiences of students. The Project Approach can be a good strategy. This approach enable students to concentrate on ‘what’ rather than ‘how’. In other words, the theme-based movie-making or problem-solving processes carries an important educational meaning. Making movie, the students actualized their multiple intelligence and communicate with the others. This paper is a practical proposal about a more effective method of movie-making or image-making education in Korean Language and textbook. So in this paper, the actual process of making movies producted by students and the strategies how to concrete in Korean language textbook.
