Abstract
The Need and the Method for Literature Essay EducationYou, Young-heeUntil 1990, ‘Essay’ was used like ‘demonstrative writing’ in composition. In the 2000s, an opinion of the concept for the essay is divided, while ‘a united subject essay’ is in the subject. ‘Literature essay’ is the concept that is closely connected with ‘the united subject essay’. While ‘the united subject essay’ is considered the uniform correct answer, ‘literature essay’ is the estimation tool to measure the creativity of the leaner, the ability of the logical, the diverse thinking.Teaching and Learning of ‘the Literature essay’ can be divided as six step. The first step is the establishment step that can be decided by the teacher or learner related to the target of the education. The second step is the one to understand the overall meaning of the works and grasp the idea of the core contents. The third step is the one to educe the logic to understand deeply of the text which is necessary to talk about for the relevance by each group. The fourth step is the step to decide the subject and give shape a plan to not buried in the universal value. The fifth step is the demonstration step through the internal and external elements of the texts, and the step to learn the method for the justification of its own thinking after collecting the information through the works or other medias. Last step is the problem solving or giving the alternative plan that go with critical thinking course.
