Literature Education as Life-long Education -The Role of Literature Education toward Time and Space of Futuristic Life-

Abstract
Literature education as a life-long education should look into the entire life-long time and life-space of each individual in future society, and a curriculum innovation is needed for interaction of those two(life-long time and life-space). It should develop toward the direction that the literature is compatible with life in various ways. The literature education in future society should be done through the whole life and focus on leading students to experience ‘cultural communication’ in their every lifetime and life-space. Moreover, the education should lead them to pursue ‘esthetic cultivation’ in high-degree technical civilization and therefore, the life-long education can become dynamic. The content and method of literature education as a life-long education can be determined depending on the change of future society, therefore it is desirable to reflect the value based on sociology of art and the sociology of culture. ‘Literature education in school education’ needs to aim deinstitutionalization, and ‘literature education in life-long education’ needs to aim institutionalization. And it is advisable that both sides interact with each other.
