A Study on Grammar Teaching-Leaning Employing the Method of Storytelling

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the grammar course implementing storytelling and to design a student-leading grammar course. Storytelling consists of stories(narration) and telling(expression). The grammar course with storytelling employs these features of storytelling and leads the students to contrive a story on their grammar knowledge and express it through a short play. Through this process the students are able to learn narrative thinking and approach the grammar with ease. The suggested class procedure is as follows:1. Select the subject 2. Analyze the problem and collect reference 3. Understand the subject 4. Creatively express:creating and expressing a story 5. Feedback and apprehension of meta language Experiencing the grammar teaching-learning with storytelling, the students will achieve clear understanding of language and the joy of creating meanings. Moreover, the students will actively participate in the class and grow their interest in the grammar knowledge.
