A Study on Activity Direction of A Letter of Self-Introduction Writing Education -Around Assessment Item and Assessment Element-

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find the main assessment element by assessment item of a letter of self-introduction for college admission and look at the characteristics of a letter of self-introduction associated with the main assessment element and come up with activity direction of a letter of self-introduction writing education based on this. The assessment elements of the right people pursued admissions officer screening generally are personality, major suitability, growth potential, creativity. The main assessment elements by assessment item of a letter of self-introduction also appears as personality, major suitability, growth potential, creativity. Based on these similarities, the characteristics of a letter of self-introduction for college admission characteristics are compressed into four kinds. First, a letter of self-introduction is writing to pursue sameness of assessment element on assessment item of author and reader. Second, a letter of self-introduction is a complex writing of identity and practicality. Third, a letter of self-introduction is writing to convert narration about me into description about me. Fourth, a letter of self-introduction has double-sidedness with a purpose of admission and assessment. Therefore based on these characteristics, activity direction of a letter of self-introduction writing education can be set.
