It seems that the smart education would begin entirely. But we can judge the preparation for the smart education is not ready. Accordingly this thesis aims that what the smart education is, what the issue of the smart education is and what we should study on Korean education. At first, the identity of the smart education was examined with the history of adapting media in Korean education and the process of setting up the media language education. And issues was found that could appear as the smart education carries out on the side of the digital textbook, the subject in teaching-learning and the adaptation of the smart technology into Korean education. The character of the transforming system that the smart education has shows the possibility of changing the structure and the territory of Korean education as well as the media language education. It is expected that the new research on Korean education should lead properly to the age of the smart education.
