교수·학습 모형에 대한 연구는 실제 교육에 도움을 주는 것이어야 한다. 이를 위해 기존의 모형 연구에 대한 분석을 통해 모형에 내재한 기본 구조를 추출하고, 교육의 기본 구조에 맞게 재조직함으로써 모형 의 효율적 활용 방안을 마련하였다. 교수·학습 모형은 크게 전략 통합 모형, 일반 모형, 지원 모형의 세 가지 범주로 구성된다. 실제 교수·학 습 과정에서 교사는 세 범주의 모형을 서로 통합할 수 있다. 전략 통합 모형을 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서는 교재를 구성할 때 적극적으로 반영할 필요가 있다. 이것은 교사의 부담을 경감하고 학습 의 효과를 높이는 방안이 되며, 동시에 다양하게 개발된 전략을 실제 교 실 상황에 투입하는 길이기도 하다. 이러한 노력을 통해 교재는 전략 통 합 모형이 내재된 형태가 되어 교사는 일반 모형과 지원 모형을 통합하 는 방식만 고려하게 하여, 부담을 경감시키면서도 기본적으로는 최소한 한 가지 이상의 모형을 사용하게 하는 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 교사는 일 반 모형의 특성을 이해하고 교육의 기본 구조에 따라 적절하게 변형할 수 있어야 한다. 이러한 노력을 통해 제한된 수의 모형을 가지고 실제 교육 현장에 맞는 수많은 교수·학습 과정을 만들어낼 수 있다. 여기에 더하여 협동을 통한 학습 증진이나 인성 함양과 같은 이차적인 목표를 달성할 수 있는 지원 모형까지 고려하면 하나의 목표를 달성하기 위해 두 가지 이상의 모형을 동시에 적용하게 되어 교육적 효과를 거둘 수 있다. < A b s trac t > A S tudy on S y stem atization of the T eaching Models Ch oi , Y e on g - H w an T he Purpose of this stu dy m akes clear th e relation s of teaching m odels.
