본고는 한국어를 공부하고자 하는 외국인들을 위한 한국어 교육의 관 점에서 대우표현과 관련하여 대화형 시스템에 필요한 콘텐츠 개발을 목 적으로 한다. 자연언어처리(Natural Languag e Processin g )란 인간의 언 어를 가공하여 컴퓨터와 인간의 언어로 의사소통할 수 있도록, 그 기반 이 되거나 응용할 수 있는 기술을 의미한다. 인간의 언어를 가공하여 컴 퓨터와 인간의 언어로 의사소통할 수 있도록, 그 기반이 되거나 응용할 수 있는 기술을 의미하는 자연언어처리(Natural Languag e Processing ) 와 관련된 부분 중에서 대화형 시스템이 해결해야 할 문제는 다음과 같 다. ○ 사전 : 어휘의 양, 어휘간의 관련성, 의미자질표현 ○ 형태소 분석 : 복합어 이해 능력, 문법 정보 추출 능력, 중의성 해 소 ○ 구문 분석 : 문장 의미의 지식 표현 ○ 텍스트 분석 : 문장과 문장의 연관성 파악 대우 표현과 관련하였을 때, 자연언어처리에서 고려해야할 것은 조사, 선어말어미, 종결어미로 나누어질 수 있다. 또한 이와 관련된 상황적 요 소 역시 고려되어야 할 사항이며, 후속 연구의 과제로 남겨둔다. 대화형 시스템은 컴퓨터를 통한 교육(T eachin g through Computer )을 의미한 다. 한국어 교육을 위한 교재로서 대화형 시스템의 개발은 자기 주도적 언어교육과 한국어 능력평가에 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 가진다. < A b s trac t > A study of Korean Honorific Ex pres sions in the Conv ersational Sy stem for Korean Languag e Education Kim , S oo Jun g T his study aim s at developing contents needed for the Conver sational Sy stem concerning Honorific expressions from the view of Korean language education for foreigner. Lexicon : T he Vocabulary , the Mutual Relationship between Lexemes, and Semantic Expression Morpheme Analy sis : T he Ability to understand Composit s and to Extract Grammatical Information . Syntax Analy sis : Expression of Knowledge about Meaning of Sentences T ext Analy sis : Understanding the relation ship between Sentences In relation to Honorific Expression, what Natural Language Processing should con sider are affixes, sonomal omi, and terminative omi. On the other hand, the circumstantial element s relevant to this should also be considered and are remained for the next phase. T he Conversational Sy stem mean s T eaching through Computers. T he Conversational Sy stem has the possibility of being utilized for self- induced language learning and KCP.
