Abstract
1. In this paper I treats the following problems: the characteristic of irony and the methodologies of approaching irony, reading irony and narrative of irony, instruction and learning activity etc. 2. And in this paper utilisizing of the salient theory of irony, the bicoherence theory, making stange theory etc, I give a basis for necessity of activity of discovering on irony marker and understanding irony effect and reinterpreting the overall theme of irony text etc. 3. Processing method of reading irony/ narrative of irony is recontructed: provisional summing up of general meaning of the text → discovering of incoherence in irony discourse/ narrative → meaning verificationo of discourse → discriminating whether it is a irony or not(← discriminating irony marker) → evaluating the irony effect(locutionary, illocutionary, perlocutionary) → reading the overall meaning of the text. 4. The chief instruction and learning activity for understanding irony/ narrative of irony is as follows: knowing definition of irony, discovery of irony marker(foundational activity), understanding of irony moment, discriminating whether it is a irony or not etc.(developmental activity), understanding irony effect, evaluating pertinence of irony(critical activity), substituting for better irony, escaping from miscommunication of irony, creating the narrative of irony etc(creative activity).
