Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to develop principles of Instructional design and adaptation of teaching-learning models in Korean language education (hereafter called KLE). Teaching-learning methods have been one of the most important topic in KLE since the 7th curriculum. KLE researchers have used the terms in different ways, such as instruction, teaching-learning, teaching-learning model, method. I tried to differ- entiate and define the terms. Also I suggested some principles of instructional design and adaptation of teaching-learning models and methods. I suggested that the principles of teaching models and methods can be constructed in various ways, which will help teachers as well as developer of models or methods. Much more researches need to be followed regarding this area.
