Abstract
The purpose of this study is to review grammar and the media language culture in the educational perspective. The three core words of Media, language, culture are nucleus factors in the overall Korean language education, but they might not have practical meaning themselves. They will be eligible on the levels of concrete practice and design. Therefore, considering grammar education as a practical stage, this study poses these questions:First, how can grammar education using media be unfolded in a creative way? Second, how should the basic territory be extended and deepened? Third, how can the different media-linguistic identities between teacher and learner be approached?Grammar education is a purpose-oriented activity promoting deep understanding of the nature of language. In the grammar class we should draw careful attention and focus, and swiftly address the transitions and changes of the world as well as those of the ecology of the language where the human language activities are activated. With the above aspects, those three questions posed by this study will help us to understand and analyze the influences of media on Korean language culture and design a well-fitted model or scheme for Korean grammar education.
