Abstract
This study examines the elements of the narrative education which are discovered in P. Ricoeur's narrative theory(Time and Narrative). P. Ricoeur defines the narrative as Muthos(emplotment) and inquires into the threefold Mimesis which is Mimesis1(prefiguration) Mimemis2 (configuration), and Mimemis3( refiguration) Firstly, the emplotment is performed by the logical criteria of the necessity and probability. Secondly the emplotment must have the included discordance. Finally the emplotment is characteristic of time. The emplotment is grounded in the preunderstanding of the world the action, its meaningful structures, its symbolic resources, and its temporal character. These elements serve as the model of the narrative expression education. The refiguration of the action by the reader is based on the intelligibility which the narrative intelligence in the configuration created. The narrative identity which is established in the process of the refiguration creates identité comme soi. These elements serve as the model of the narrative understanding education.
