Abstract
The objects and the methods needed in narrative education which is important in Korean language education should be expanded to the broad scope of narrative phenomenon. The narrative phenomenon presupposes communication essentially. Therefore, the narrative communication builds the narrative field, so that the narrative subjects in this field will obtain the narrative identity. This tells us that man isn't only the subject using language but the one builded by it. So, this study explores the dynamic relation between narrative field and narrative identity through analyzing the radio program ‘Radio Yeosungsidae’(MBC FM), which is acknowledged as the best radio program dealing human stories. The narrative production, communi- cation, consumption is the heart of this paper. The mechanism of the narrative field on the radio follow these. First, narrative mediating as retelling. Second, holding experience in common through making meta-narrative. Third, opening and knotting the story by means of songs related. This narrative communication means these three useful points. First, identifying through recovering one's memory. Second, reasoning as a method of narrative therapy. Third, the actualization of narrative culture through extending one’s ego in stories. Above facts show that the sense of solidarity in narrative community gives us the narrative reality. The narrative phenomenon that a narrative ego communicates others helps us to rediscover our living world, and suggests the indication of promoting the narrative communi- cation in the Korean language education field. This is the most important conclusion in this study.
